MARITIME
Tactical Boat Operator
Student Capability: 4 Coxswains/12 Tactical Members 
Course Duration: 3 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The Tactical Boat Operator course is designed to teach designated boat coxswains and maritime tactical units how to perform underway hook and climb ship boarding’s. This 3 week course is broken down into 2 phases. Phase 1 is the first and second weeks where boat coxswains are taught how to tactically operate and navigate 7-11m RHIB’s for near and long range deployments and how to maneuver the RHIB into station for a tactical team deployment via hook and climb. Phase 1 for tactical maritime units is learning how to rig and deploy equipment necessary to vertically deploy onto a vessel and operational movements once onboard to secure the vessel. Phase 2 is the third week which incorporates the two elements together for static and underway tactical boarding’s. 

Maritime Mobilization Operations
Student Capability: 4 Coxswains/12 Tactical Members
Course Duration: 3 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The Maritime Mobilization Operations course is designed to teach designated boat coxswains and maritime tactical units how perform maritime operations from a riverine, lake, or ocean environment. This 3 week course is broken down into 2 phases. Phase 1 is the first and second weeks where boat coxswains are taught how to tactically operate and navigate in shallow riverine environments and how to perform beach insertions and extractions. Phase 1 for tactical units instructs members how to recognize signs of intrusion from a maritime environment, tracking skills, small unit tactics, pistol and rifle marksmanship, tactical first aid, communications, and how to operate at night with the use of thermal imagers and night vision devices. Phase 2 is the third week which incorporates the two elements together for sea to shore and shore to sea operations.

Maritime Interdiction of Terrorism
Student Capability: 24 Maritime Law Enforcement Officers
Course Duration: 3 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The Maritime Interdiction of Terrorism course is designed to instruct maritime law enforcement officers how to board, tactically control the vessels, and searching methods to secure Weapons of Mass destruction, Illegal weapons, drugs, personnel, or unauthorized cargo. Personnel are instructed on the latest technical equipment and how to deploy these assets while underway or pier side.  

Introduction to Tactical Maritime Operations 
Student Capability: 24 Maritime Law Enforcement Officers
Course Duration: 2 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The Introduction to Tactical Maritime Operations course is designed to instruct law enforcement officers how to operate equipment, requirements and maintenance required in a maritime environment. This course includes exterior and interior vessel navigation, maritime tactics, pre and post operational maintenance of equipment, maritime first aid, vessel repair while underway, and mission essential equipment. This course is an advanced Maritime Tactical Organization Group. Each individual must demonstrate the ability to swim 100m with and without tactical equipment on as well as climb a 20’ caving ladder.

First Responder Diving
Student Capability: 8 Maritime Law Enforcement Officers
Course Duration: 3 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The First Responder Diving course teaches law enforcement officers how to dive open circuit diving apparatus, perform underwater searches, hull searches, operate in contaminated waters, and recovery of evidence in a maritime environment. Students will be taught what the hull of a ship should look like and be able to recognize parasites or anomalies that are not standard to a ship’s hull. Searches for bodies, vehicles, and evidence will be conducted and methodology of each type of search will be covered from the diver’s perspective as well as surface support requirements and communications. Recovery of evidence, personnel, and vehicles/vessels methods are implemented in finial exercise. 

Maritime Medicine
Student Capability: 8 Maritime Law Enforcement Officers
Course Duration: 3 Weeks
Course Description:
  • The Maritime Medicine course is designed to instruct EMT/Paramedics personnel the techniques, equipment requirements, and methodology to provide Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) in a maritime environment. Students will be introduced to scenarios such as swimming, diving, and tactical maritime operations injuries and how to provide care for injuries in those environments.  

Maritime Operations Command and Control Planning
Student Capability: 24 Senior Law Enforcement Officers
Course Duration: 1 Week
Course Description:
  • The Maritime Operations Command and Control planning course is designed to instruct and educate senior law enforcement officer’s best practices of maritime units, capabilities, deployment methods, and equipment requirements. Senior Officers will interact with unit commanders on how to set up a Tactical Operations Command and what aspects are required for maritime operations.
